GVM Upgrades

The American trucks are out of the box designed to carry additional weights and be loaded up with things such as caravans, boats and tray/canopy setups. However they aren’t always setup for the Australian conditions. We upgrade suspension components, add adequate air bag solutions and then we can upgrade them with our engineers to a higher GVM than what they get stamped with when registered in Australia. We have had rams, chevs and f trucks all within the ec offroad group and we have used them with Canopies, Boats and Caravans to work out the best solutions to suit each application.

Ram

Ram 1500 DT – Currently for the DT 1500 RAM we offer 3630kg & 4000kg GVM upgrades requiring suspension upgrade and air bags. – for Coil suspension models only – get up to an extra 550KG payload.

Ram 1500 DS – Currently for the DS 1500 RAM we offer 3795kg & 3889kg GVM upgrades requiring suspension upgrade and air bags. get up to an extra 550KG payload.

Ram 2500 – With the assistance of Air bags and suspension, if you go up to NB2 category we can upgrade you to 5300kg/5400kg. If you’re currently in NB1 Category we are also able to upgrade you to NB2

Ram 3500 – With the assistance of Air bags and suspension, we can upgrade you to 5800kg.

Chevy

Chev 1500 – We can now offer your Chev 1500 LTZ or ZR2 GVM upgrade of 4200kg or 4500kg- Pre & post Rego, get up to an extra 1200KG payload.

Chev 2500 – With the assistance of Air bags and suspension & if you go up to NB2 we can upgrade you to 5500kg. If you’re currently in NB1 Category we are also able to upgrade you to NB2

Ford

Ford F150 – Nothing currently available – Stay TUNED

Ford F250 – With the assistance of Air bags and suspension & if you go up to NB2 we can upgrade you to 5400kg. If you’re currently in NB1 Category we are also able to upgrade you to NB2

Ford F350 – With the assistance of Air bags and suspension & we can upgrade you to 5850kg.

Ford F450 – With the assistance of Air bags and suspension & we can upgrade you to 7200kg.

200 Series – 3820kg Upgrade and 4495kg Upgrade available offering Shocks and Springs all round, plus Air Bags in the rear for extra support. With the 4495kg Upgrade it is required to have braced with welded supports to take the extra load. Pre & Post rego upgrades available

300 Series – 3999kg Upgrade and 4499kg Upgrade available offering Shocks and Springs all round, plus Air Bags in the rear for extra support. With the 4499kg Upgrade it is required to have braced with welded supports to take the extra load.Pre & Post rego upgrades available

78 Series – 3900kg GVM Upgrades available offering Shocks and Springs all round, plus Air Bags in the rear for extra support. Pre & Post rego upgrades available

76 Series – 3700kg GVM Upgrades available offering Shocks and Springs all round, plus Air Bags in the rear for extra support. Pre & Post rego upgrades available

Prado – 3500kg GVM Upgrades available offering Shocks and Springs all round, plus Air Bags in the rear for extra support .Pre & Post rego upgrades available

Nissan

Y62 Patrol – 3999kg and 4495kg GVM Upgrades available for Pre Registration (SSM Nationally Recognised) and also Post rego. By upgrading front and rear coils, additional air bags, upper control arms and re doing the HBMC Oil Fluids to suit the increased loaded springs. This is by far one of our most popular kits available and has been a great addition to touring vehicles especially when towing a van and needing to look after your weights. The 4495KG Kit also requires rear lower control arm’s to be reinforced.up to 37inch tyres can be used
