EC Offroad all began with an idea from one of the founders to upgrade the head unit in his 200 Series Landcruiser. When looking online he found there was no solution to have all of his mapping and app needs to be present on the head unit. So when searching and starting conversations with manufacturers around the world, he came up with developing a device that does just about everything and anything you want.
We have now been selling Android based head units that allows Apple Car Play, Android Auto as a standard. Maintaining factory features, and introducing things such as Google Maps, Spotify, Tune In Radio and a range of alternative offline, offroad mapping apps. Along with these features, you also have the ability to download OBD bluetooth plug in apps that can assist with clearing codes, monitoring transmission temps and viewing anything you can through most scan gauges.
We offer a range of head units to suit most popular offroad vehicles on the Australian market, and we have also introduced a number of American Truck replacement screens to do much the same. Along with this, we also offer Digital Dash upgrades and Steering wheel upgrades. Thus giving a premium feel when driving your pride and joy.
